The US GOV will use these camps for their own citizens. When the collapse comes the US gov will be a Tyranny and there will no longer be freedom and liberty within its borders. The only thing that will stop the US gov from its plans to reduce the population by millions is a natural disaster that will render their tools useless and allow Americans to strike back on an even level. There is hope that US Military will not allow the gov to initiate their plans and put an end to the tyranny. Either way, there is no doubt that any force used by the US gov will bring on another civil war. Devastating times are ahead of us. Learn to grow food, hunt and build make-shift shelters. More americans lose their homes. Crime increases. Religous fanatics become believable with talk of the end times. Year 3- Many americans are now leaving America. China is buying American Assets. The Dollar is decimated. Canada and other counrties begin to stop American migration. Year 4- America comes close to war with China and the USSR. Talks of overthrowing the government are heard. The whitehouse is bombed and an attempt is made on the President's life. The unenployment funds dry up. Americans bgein to starve. The streets are filled with children and mothers begging for food. Year 5 to 8 - The government is overthrown, there is no police force or military. Money no longer has value. Chaos rules. Many are robbed and killed. People begin to join clans for protection. Many of the largest gangs in America begin to rise to power. Year 9 - The former president and a group of powerful Americans bring in a foreign power create and successfully implement a plan to sieze power and reestablish the government. I think with the right combination of these resources and the right management (without someone trying to get rich which is 99% of the issue) that we could easily live on and progress into the future. Hell, this could even be what our future is. Think about it, wouldn't it make us higher beings if we coincided with the earth instead of raping it like an old whore? We would still be driving the giant banana boats of the 60's and 70's as they could have very well still had another source of fuel like natural gas or something. (there are cars like that in Argentina that people and even a few here that people can hook up to their houses to fuel up but anyway...)This war and other conflicts from the past may not have happened and there would be know Beverly Hillbillies because Jed Clampett would not have had any "bubblin crude" to make him rich.
