But then wouldn't that be a monopoly? One company that controls the OS market. Yeah we still have Linux but common they are no competition when it comes to Apple or Microsoft. Though if they did merge together then Microsoft might actually be able to produce an OS that wouldn't crash during a demonstration. They might actually learn a thing or too from the developers over at Apple. And those wacky Apple guys might learn that a mouse should have 2 buttons not one. There is nothing positive that can come from the merger besides pissed off Mac users. I currently use the brand new iMac and don't want to see M$ crapllications anywhere near my Linux OS.
