The question for today is what if humans were no longer affected by ailments? Lets just picture for a moment that scientists have found a panacea medicine that would fend off any disease that came our way? No more cancers, AIDS or any other disease or sickness for that matter. Imagine a world where you wouldn’t have to worry about another person’s germs or worry about sexually transmitted diseases. No more sick days to get us down and more importantly no more losing our loved ones.

How would this affect all the facets of our lives? Would we see this as a great blessing upon humanity? Would we use this to our advantage? How would this affect hospitals and doctors? Would we see more sexual activity amongst ourselves as a result of this? How would this affect us emotionally and mentally as a people? These questions I leave to you, my readers.

  1. I don’t think that this would be a good idea. Humans are the most effective virus created by God. If we were not affected by ailments then this virus would truly become unstoppable. Ailments help to act as somewhat of a population control. Also its good for someone to lose someone else that they love every once in awhile. It teaches them many lessons about life and causes them to look at things under a different light.

    P.S.
According to the good book of Genesis in the Holy Bible man was created to be eternal and without any form of ailment. We only experience ailments now because we are being punished for not following God’s directions.

  2. No ailments!?!?!? Bad for business in my opinion. If you were to resurrect every single human that has ever died, you can still fit them all on this Earth. Over the years, the population of man has multiplied. Before man everything was fine, it had a natural cycle and everything complemented that cycle and everything was fine. Then man comes along and figures out that he can control his environment. So what if in doing so man destroys many things. Humans are Earth’s “cancer” and if we didn’t have ailments then there wouldn’t be enough of Earth’s T cells (such as car accidents, cancer, A.I.D.S.)to fend us off and Earth and everything on it would surly parish. Besides, experiencing the death of a loved one forces one to rethink many things and begin to question many more of the things that they once believed in and it gets your creative mind to actively rebuild your belief system.
