Todays thought provoking question is what if the government was behind 911? This question is not to promote anti-government thinking but to bring up a possibility. As with any government ours has the possibility of being corrupt at its utmost core. What if we attacked our own people that one fateful day as an excuse to get over onto Middle Eastern soil? What if this was just an issue over oil?
How would the United States let alone the World react to finding this out? Would we retaliate with some sort of force and do you think they would respond with martial law? Do you think that we would just turn the other cheek to save our security and comfort of knowing we are at least somewhat protected against other enemy threat? These questions I leave you, My faithful readers.

I guess that all governments are corrupt in some way or another. Since the American government is one of the largest I wouldn’t doubt that there is some corruption within it. I just don’t see our government using this as a stepping stone to the middle east. They could’ve found a much easier way then killing a bunch of our people (like killing a bunch of people in a different country and then helping that country get the middle east back). I just don’t see what they gained by declaring war on terror. Now I know that many people will jump the gun and say that it was over oil but our government has been fighting with them for years now and hasn’t gained any oil that I’ve ever heard of and gas prices just keep soaring.
There is a film readily downloadable here in the Net and it is entitled as “Loose Change”. Such is a good accompanying film for your theory.
I think it is a possibility. I mean our own CIA was the one that trained Osama Bin La din on the how-to of combat. Even if we weren’t the one’s that planned it all out I’m sure we had some part in it.
I do believe we had a far warning about a possible attack on our air transit system but our government was to full of themselves and didn’t believe it was a possible. Well look how easy it was. They didn’t have guns or knifes. They had simple razors. They were able to take over the planes in minutes and air control didn’t do anything about it. They heard the cries for help, the planes going off course, the loss of communication. But they sat back and let it happen because they thought it was a glitch in the system.
Even if our government didn’t plan it out, they were still a part of it in some way.
If the government was behind 9/11, then everything would stay exactly the same. If they were indeed responsible for this or any of the past assassinations or large disastrous crimes, then they wouldn’t let the common people know about it. They have already set the blame, and they will always set the blame. If something like this did come out publicly, and people found out the government were the ones responsible, then due to the ignorance of most people in our country, instead of automatically shifting the blame on to the government, they would become confused first.
This state of confusion would now wonder that there is a small chance that the government was responsible, not the terrorists that they hated for the past several decades. Then, the confused citizens, would turn to the only person they know for for “true” information: the government. The government would then turn around and say they had nothing to do with it, and everything will just proceed the normal and untruthful way it usually does.

….this one is extremely controversial… However, I will say on a hypothetically derived opinion that it would ultimately cause a Revolution and the Government would probably respond with full force whether by corrupt/brain washed military forces, the use of weaponry like the HARRP facility and or any other “scare tactic” available to them. How do we control? By fear. How do we dominate? By fear. Martial law would probably be used and we would be cut off from our resources and made to suffer until submission. The World already is looking at the US in a different light, something like this would just be confirmation to many people. If it came out, if they actual admitted publicly to having being behind 911 I think it would ultimately mean the beginning of War. All the grieving families of lost soldiers, all the grieving families of the lost victims of 911 and then the betrayed American forces…would they retaliate and turn their weapons? Who knows. Look into HARRP…talk about scary.
It would simply be the ugly beginning to the “end of the world” type catastrophe that so many have predicted and still anticipate. Which would not at all be surprising.
