Todays question is what if humans never slept? Humans need their rest, or at least most of them do. Some sleep a meager three to five hours while others sleep a hefty nine to ten hours a day. Now what would happen if humans lost the need for sleep? A world where a human wouldn’t have the need for rest after a hard day of mental work. A world where a city truly never sleeps and neither does anywhere else.

How would this effect society as a whole? would we find ourselves working full 24 hour shifts without losing steam? Would we finish marvels in fractions of a time that it would normally take us to finish a simple accomplishment? The possibilities are endless but even with water the droplet follows a path as it falls. These questions I leave to you, the readers.

The question for today is What if the world was without alcohol? Remember that time at the frat party when you find yourself passed out on the floor with twenty or so randoms strewn across the room like your daily laundry? Ok maybe that didn’t happen to you but a lot of us remember the good and bad times that alcohol has brought us. We relieve a bit of steam by coming home to a nice relaxing beer and we even go out with friends for a night of drinking on the town. We also go through heartache as alcoholics tear our families and lives apart.

What if that were all gone? What if there was no way for us to get a little liquored up on a Friday night? Do you think the world would be better off without an occasional Budweiser or Captain Morgan? Do you think it would throw society into a panic if one day all the alcohol in the world was gone or banned? These questions I leave to you, my readers.

Todays question is What if the U.S. economy collapses? With recent events dealing with oil prices and the housing market its no surprise that the economy is in particular trouble for even the middle class breed of American citizens. Gas has risen to an average of $4.00 a gallon and continues to rise even more. The job market is suffering and more people are getting laid off from work. So what happens if overall our economy collapsed? How do you think that we would survive a devastating blow of this magnitude to our country?

I pose the question of our future in a five to ten year span. What do you think would be the process of an economic failure leading up to a ten year mark? What role do you think our government would play in the process of economic failure and recovery? Do you think they would worsen the situation or make it better? I leave these questions for you to answer.

The question I present today is what if Microsoft stopped doing OS’s? So many companies and individuals rely on the Microsoft brand to do their day to day workings on the computer. Whether its to figure out finances or its to play an addicting game of World of Warcraft some PC user’s rely solely on the Microsoft market to survive in a thriving world of electronics and Internet Communications. What if one day support was dropped and windows was eventually phased out?

How do you think that we would react to the overwhelming need for another supported Operating System? would all of the Microsoft Windows users switch to Mac OSX? Would the situation of Windows being knocked of the rung create an environment that would allow a competitive distribution of Linux that caters to windows users to rise to power? These questions are yours to think about… I hand this off to you the people…
